
A brand identity for the product launch of AJC Varsity, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's franchise for high-school sports.

In August 2025, the AJC launched a new editorial product for high school sports in Georgia called AJC Varsity. As a Senior Designer on the brand creative team, I was responsible for creating the logo and brand identity package which included key art, motion design, style guide, and various OOH tactics for stadiums across Georgia.








I created the campaign animation that would appear on social, as bumpers on editorial content, and in Mercedes Benz Stadium for the 2025 Corky Kell Classic.
To launch the new product, the AJC started a grassroots marketing campaign at high schools across the state of Georgia. From jumbotrons to on-field signage, the Varsity brand had a direct reach to its target audience in an impactful and efficient location. My role included designing each of these tactics for over 20 high schools.
The logo and identity are anchored across pieces of the digital product, from marketing emails to the AJC News App.
